Data Lake for vessel and fleet data

Problem: Data from many vessels was scattered across separate systems and files, so fleet-wide analysis and reporting meant manual collection every time.
What we did: A central Data Lake with ingestion pipelines that load raw vessel data, keep it in a scalable store and expose curated datasets for analytics.
Result: One repository of fleet data, ready for analytics and reporting without manual data gathering.

Big Data platform for customer service productivity

Problem: Large volumes of operational data from the customer service team gave no clear picture of workload and performance.
What we did: A Big Data processing pipeline that collects operational events, aggregates them at scale and turns them into performance indicators on dashboards.
Result: Managers track team productivity on clear, regularly refreshed indicators instead of ad hoc spreadsheets.

Reliable sensor data from vessels with intermittent connectivity

Problem: Sensor data on board had to reach shore-side systems even when the vessel's link was unavailable for long periods.
What we did: Acquisition software with local buffering and a store-and-forward transmission layer that sends the collected data on once the link returns.
Result: Data is collected continuously and delivered to shore-side systems when connectivity is back, without gaps.

Monitoring on-board IT infrastructure to plan maintenance before failures

Problem: Failures of on-board equipment were discovered only after they affected operations.
What we did: Health-data collection on board and analysis that flags degrading components before they fail.
